Restore -Comfrey and Wintergreen 100g
One of my latest recipes is this Restore ointment for massaging into the joints and muscles.
Contains a recipe of herbs of Comfrey, Meadowsweet, White willow bark and Arnica, along with Wintergreen, Colocynth and peppermint essential oils.
Do not use on broken skin.
A little goes a long way with this salve, and this generously sized tin should last a good while.
It is always advisable to try a small ammount as a patch test on skin before using liberally. Massage well in to painful areas.
PLANT PROPERTIES
The healing powers of Comfrey are remarkable as the presence of allantoin promotes cell growth and makes it a valuable herb in the regeneration of bones and cartilage, and as a drawing agent it detoxifies joints muscles and tendons. I have accompanied this with Meadowsweet, another of my favourites, from which aspirin was made,for rheumatic pains. Wintergreen oil is a traditional oil used originally by Native Americans, containing methyl salicylate that promotes circulation and relieves pain with its deeply penetrating warming sensation.
I White Willow bark, Arnica, and pain relieving essential oils make this a very useful balm for all your aches and pains!

Product does contain essential oils, in cases with sensitive skin it is always good to try a patch test on a small area of skin on the wrist before applying liberally on the body.
Caution should always be taken around areas of broken skin
